Clinical Social Worker, LCSW (per diem)

JOB SUMMARYThe Clinical Social Worker (CSW) is responsible for assisting patients and their families or significant others with the stress and difficulties related to illness, personal issues, financial difficulties, and other emotional/mental health issues.
The social worker's interventions take into consideration the patient's strengths, resources, insurance coverage, family system, and motivation for change.
The clinical social worker collaborates with nurse care managers and other members of the multidisciplinary team to facililitate safe and effective discharge plans.
Additionally, the social worker supports the mission of the Hospital and participates in the Hospitals' Performance Improvement activities.
The CSW provides services to patients admitted to med/surg, pediatrics, maternity, critical care units, the Emergency Department and as needed in outpatient areas.
Master's degree from a graduate program accredited by the Council on Social WorkEducation.
Graduate and post graduate education must include adult normalgrowth and behavior theory and adult psychopathology.
Previous experienceincludes work with adults and families with acute and chronic illness in ahospital or healthcare setting.
Licensed in MA at the Licensed IndependentSocial Work level or licensed clinical Social Work level.
Post Master'sexperience (2-3 years) preferred.
Assessment and planning skills, demonstrated ability to communicate effectivelyverbally and in writing, good interpersonal and organizational skills to work ina fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of infant, child, adolescent,adult, older adult patients preferred.
Recommended Skills Clinical Social Work Clinical Works Communication Coordinating Critical Care Diseases And Disorders Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
