Medical Assistant- Pain and Spine Service
Medical Assistant-Pain and Spine CenterDescriptionProvides and/or coordinates the delivery of a variety of patient services under the direction of the Practice Manager.
Patient services are both clinical and non-clinical in nature and include direct patient care activities such as taking vital signs, performing phlebotomy and business functions such as data entry , filing, assessing charges.
Interacts with patients, physicians, and hospital personnel.
Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
QualificationsHigh school graduate or equivalent.
Graduate of a Medical Assistant training program, nursing student, or Paramedic is prefered.
A minimum of one-year experience in a Medical Assistant position is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to:
Communicate efectively.
Problem solve Get along with others, Confront issues appropriately.
Must be able to speak and understand oral and written communication in English Recommended Skills Clinical Works Communication Data Entry English Filing Health Care Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
