Manager, Real Estate The Real Estate team is seeking a team oriented, aggressive, articulate, motivated individual to join our team as a Sr.
Manager in the Real Estate function.
The Sr.
Manager will produce new caf development opportunities in selected company and franchise markets on the East coast and is responsible for managing all elements of Real Estate site selection and LOI negotiations.
This position is remote, work from home.
Responsibilities:
Work with Real Estate Strategy and Director to identify targeted trade areas for development.
Work with local brokers, developers, and leverage experience to procure targeted number of deals for submittal to the company for development.
Conduct High Quality Trade Area Reviews in targeted trade areas as needed and as approved by Real Estate Director.
Present opportunities for approval to Development Committee.
Follow deals through development pipeline and work with legal to ensure timely and successful lease signing.
Build positive working relationships with folks in Operations, Construction, Design, Legal and Project Management.
Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at meetings, conferences and when interacting with people in the development community at large.
As required, this position will support and monitor the development process in existing company and franchise markets.
Participate in the updating of gold standard market plans in specific real estate markets on behalf of Panera.
Conduct and support local brokers in conducting HQTARs in market.
Advise franchisees regarding best practices for site selection and overall development.
Occasionally work with franchisees to screen Real Estate and present new sites to development committee on behalf of franchisee.
Qualifications:
BS or BA in related field preferred 5
years of experience working in a job-related field such as Commercial Real Estate for a Multi-Unit Restaurant or Retail Environment or a similar field.
Experience in high volume deal making (10
deals/year).
Excellent oral and written communications skills, highly organized, detailed oriented, ability to be self-starter, work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to impact the course of events through coaching, counseling, and influencing others to accomplish desired outcomes.
Newton Support Center Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Coaching And Mentoring Communication Construction Coordinating Negotiation Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
