Our client, a large insurance and financial services organization just south of Boston, has an immediate opportunity for a Commercial Lines Account Executive.
The Commercial Lines Account Executive is responsible for the day to day managing and servicing of assigned retail Commercial accounts.
Specific duties of the Commercial Lines Account Executive include:
Establishing rapport with clients for long term retention
Servicing clients by responding to requests via telephone, mail, e-mail, fax or producer request
Meeting with Producers on a regular basis to review status of all business, new and existing
Performing annual renewal reviews and service visits as required with Producers
Submitting renewal information to insurance companies and negotiating renewal terms
Remarketing existing business when necessary and rounding out accounts
Producing or overseeing work of the Associate Account Executives
Overseeing the initial reporting of claims to insurance companies and following up for status updates
Overseeing the input and maintenance of policy detail in Agency Management System
Maintaining Expiration List
Maintaining follow-up system
Assisting Management in mentoring Associate Account Executive assigned to the Team
Maintaining Insurance Brokers License
Pursuing a program for personal/professional development
Attending meetings as required by Management or career training
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years prior Agency Commercial or Personal insurance experience
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks on a high-volume book
Must be computer literate and have a strong command of verbal and written communication skills
Licensed as a Property and Casualty Agent/Broker per State requirements
Self-starter who is able to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions
Ability to solve problems and make analytical decisions
Willingness to participate in a team environment
