Provide technical and/or business consultative leadership during the pre-sales and/or post-sales cycle. Contributes to the development of strategies, policies and best practices through participation in management meetings and other direct contributions. Provides technical leadership for EMC Symmetrix DMX Family, VMAX Family, EMC Clariion, EMC VNX, EMC VPLEX, Ionix Control Center, EMC Recoverpoint and Replication Manager Products in order to design solution for the customers need or implement and maintain an engagement. Design and Implement Cloud Based SAN and SAN-attached Storage Sub systems such EMC VMAX, VNX and VPLEX. Perform Existing SAN and Storage Infrastructure Analysis. Architecture design and implementation of advanced storage solutions including re-tiering, de-duplication, compression, encryption, key management, compliance, thin provisioning, backup modernization, big data and Private or Hybrid Cloud Storage. Plan and Migrate Data from Homogenous and Heterogeneous Storage platforms using appropriate Migration tools like SRDF Adaptive Copy, Open Replicator, SANCopy, PowerPath MigrationEnabler, Open Migrator, IP Replicator. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Comp. Sci., Engin(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field plus 12 months experience in job offered or computer related occupation.
Experience must include: 1) EMC VNX, 2) VPLEX Local/Metro, 3) RecoverPoint Appliance, 4) DCX, 5) Data Center Fabric Manager, 6) Connectrix Manager Enterprise, 7) EMC TimeFinder Clone, 8) Replication Manager, and 9) EMC SRDF. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
