Our client, a large and growing insurance and financial services organization just south of Boston, has an immediate opportunity for a Commercial Lines Associate Account Executive.
The Commercial Lines Associate Account Executive is responsible for providing day-to-day service and administrative support to the Account Manager and small business clients. This position offers a great opportunity for growth in the financial services industry and will be a training ground for an Account Manager position.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service by responding to all customer calls and inquiries and ensuring clients' needs are met
Timely and accurate processing of policy transactions to maintain and renew book of business
Issue certificates, binders and binder extensions
Request Certificates of Insurance from Worker's Compensation carriers
Handle registration transactions
Generate notices to insurance carriers and follow up for acknowledgements
Assist in gathering renewal information
Assist in checking policies, endorsements and audit for accuracy
Assist in inputting and maintaining policy detail in Agency Management System
Assist in producing Schedules of Insurance and Renewal Proposals
Filing and photocopying
Actively participate as a member of a cohesive team to provide stellar service
Concentrate time and efforts on shifting priorities with a positive outlook and high energy
Attend meetings as required by Management or career training
Participate in on-the-job training to gain job and industry knowledge
Other related business duties as assigned
Requirements:
1 to 3 years experience in insurance industry
Ability and willingness to provide exceptional customer service
Ability to attain Property & Casualty License within first year of employment
College degree or equivalent
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high attention to detail
Exceptional organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to participate in a team environment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
