Hyannis Port Research has an opening for a motivated and passionate Linux, C/C++, real-time software engineer to develop high performance, low-latency, transactional server systems to support our leading proprietary electronic trading platform. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your strong design and coding skills. In this fully integrated software/hardware environment you will work with a group of senior level engineers who are working on some very interesting technology.
Qualifications:
Interest in a start-up
BSCS/BSCE/BSEE and 2-5 year of expeience
Design, development, debugging skills in a Linux/Unix environment
Understanding of the TCP/IP stack
Any financial industry experience or interest in financial technology is a plus (but not necessary)
LOCATION: Newton, MA (just outside Boston)
