Elevate Technology Solutions is currently accepting applications for a SharePoint Developer / Administrator, to support our operations in Newton, MA.

The SharePoint Developer / Administrator will be responsible for the following:
Design SharePoint portal websites per user request using out of box SharePoint functionalities.
Maintain and monitor SharePoint backup/recovery systems and frequently test to ensure their functionality and the recovery scenarios.
Monitor SharePoint system's health and performance, address issues timely.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and compliance of the company's SharePoint environment.
Design and maintain key performance metrics for all SharePoint sites and regularly report them to management with recommendations for improvement.
Install and configure operating system/SharePoint patches and updates.
Use native and third-party tools to report on usage trends that exist in each of the environments.
Create and maintain documentation for all SharePoint environments.
Work regularly with the Application Development team to release new services and functionality through the differing environments: development, stage/test and production.
Maintain and enforce the integrity of the software development lifecycle, coordinating with Application Development and System Operations teams to ensure consistent, predictable results as we introduce new functionality.
The Sharepoint Developer / Administrator must have the following skills:
Proficient in PowerShell, JavaScript and HTML
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration and SQL queries preferred.
Experience with developing .NET applications using Visual Studio preferred.
In-depth system knowledge with IIS, SQL Server and Active Directory
The Sharepoint Developer / Administrator must meet the following
Qualifications:

years of SharePoint 2010-2013 development and administration experience with SharePoint Designer, Workflow customization preferred.
Experience supporting multi-layer web based application
Excellent trouble-shooting and problem solving skills to support application end-users
Excellent business requirement analysis skills, ability to find technical solution to a business problem
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Quick learner, passionate about helping users and solving business problems
Knowledge of Healthcare industry is a plus
Microsoft Certification Preferred
Bachelor degree in Computer Science is preferred
